Athylla Borborema is a writer, journalist, radio host, publicist, screenwriter and documentary filmmaker from Bahia. In 1993 he published his first book. Since then, it has been on the list of the most recommended works in national literature with more than 30 books published, many of them award-winning. At the São Paulo Book Biennial in 2022, he launched the title "1500 - Brazil from the mouth of the Cahy river" - a work inspired by Pero Vaz de Caminha's letter, commented and rich with unprecedented revelations about the birth of Brazil as nation.
