Antônio Egno was born in Tocantins, in 74, but, soon after, his family took up residence in Pará, a place where he discovered, with his parents, his love for reading and writing, and where he spent his childhood, adolescence and early youth.
He converted to Christ in 92, at the height of the revival of those days. Five years later, he moved to
Goiânia moved by the dream of studying at the Federal University of Goiás – UFG. There, in that same
year, he began writing this novel, which would be interrupted several times and only resumed, definitively, in 2014, after he completed his doctorate in Literary Studies at UFG, and was able to dedicate himself to the work.
Professor of Literary Theory at the Federal University of Tocantins – UFT, Antônio Egno joins the
Assembly of God, which he serves as an evangelist and, now, as a writer. He lives in Porto Nacional with his wife and two daughters.
